Mobile Boot Camp 2011

BATEC Recently held the Mobile App Boot Camp which allowed students to delve deeper in the development of Mobile Apps. In coordination with this event students learned how to take their programming skills to the next level in order to learn how to develop Mobile App’s. BATEC and CAITE were then sponsoring a Mobile App competition in order to create the most useful smartphone application. BATEC and CAITE are currectly offering prizes for the top three teams in our Mobile App Boot Camp contest. The competition is not platform- specific. Deadlines for submission will be May 3, 2011 by midnight. All entrants will receive a high capacity flash drive. Applicants will be judged by local industry partners and project staff on the basis of creativity, uutility, and level of education. The winners will be invited to showcase their work for educationrs at the Tech Futures Forum in May.
