Each winter, BATEC invites regional high school teachers to bring their sophomores, juniors and seniors to learn about information and computing technology (ICT) careers and participate in hands-on activities with industry professional working on the field. The goals of the program are to:
(1) Introduce students to IT majors and careers
(2) Provide students with the opportunity to interact with industry professionals
(3) Build relationships between industry and education partners
Over the past five years, on average 1200 students, teachers and industry professionals have attended this event.
