BATEC educators are trained in formative assessment methods and integrate industry metrics and materials in to their teaching. Industry partners co-design the criteria for student performances and products in the form of rubrics, checklists and other guidelines. These can be used for peer reviews, team reviews and individual self-assessment of student progress and readiness.
