  • Serve on the BATEC Advisory Board with education, government, and other industry leaders.
  • Serve on curriculum task forces to ensure that the curriculum provides graduates that meet your needs for the workplace.
  • Serve on assessment task forces to ensure that assessments ensure that students have the needed competencies for the 21st Century worker.
  • Work on regional task force to develop a coordinated training structure that enables BATEC and other local agencies to provide just-in-time effective training for your employees.
  • Provide student internships to provide students with “real world’ experience and give you the opportunity to see if a particular student will fit into your organization.
  • Provide faculty externships so that faculty will get an understanding of your organizational culture and be able to communicate that to their students.
  • Provide equipment and other needed resources

  • Provide company visits and job shadowing for students
